Today is a new era in my blog world. As today i launch this blog as my main tech blog and in English. In the past I have written primarily in my native language, which is Danish. But now i think its time for me to start bloggin in English.
The decision was is based on my work with SharePoint, where i use Twitter to connect to other SharePoint users. For the exchange of great articles, tips and questions. And i hope to extend this out on this blog.
To present my self, i can tell that i have worked as a professionel developer since 1997. I started with programming C++ to develop computer games for kids. This was also the time when the Internet started growing fast, and our company quickly found the need to make homepages for the games and support functions. So that is how my interest for the net and later mobile solutions.
I have worked with a lot of home grown CMS’ before moving to work with standard CMS based on Microsoft technology. I am now certified as SharePoint 2010 developer and SiteCore 6.4 developer. My work with SharePoint started back with the 2003 version a short while, but when the MOSS 2007 arrived it took speed.
Now i have taken a big turn in my day time job. I have agreed to go into Windows Mobile 7,5 Mango development, to start making business apps for the mobile market. And hope for integration with SharePoint, to make great apps. But this should not take the focus out from my SharePoint knowledge.
Last week i got the opportunity to be invited to make live blogging from the upcoming Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2011 in Anaheim, which i look forward to. I will post the content to both this blog and to http://sharepointedutech.com run by Dave Coleman. Which i hope to say hi to in Anaheim.
